Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[18F]1 is a fluorine-18 labeled positron emission tomography (PET) radiotracer developed for the noninvasive imaging and quantitative assessment of vasopressin 1A (V1A) receptor expression in vivo. Developed by researchers at Emory University, [18F]1 exhibits high nanomolar affinity for the human V1A receptor (IC50 of 0.64 nM) and demonstrates favorable in vitro and in vivo stability. Preclinical evaluation in rodents and non-human primates has shown pronounced hepatic uptake and specific V1A-mediated binding, suggesting its potential utility in assessing V1A receptor involvement in hepatic, cardiovascular, and neuropsychiatric disorders.
